Fitness Classes

Aston Fitness training uses individualized exercises and careful attention to appropriate alignment, to:

  • Balance muscle tone
  • Restore resilience through joints and soft tissues
  • Reduce joint compression
  • Optimize performance in your activities
  • Enhance awareness and safety in movement
Ball class incorporates many of the Aston Fitness principles while using the large fitness balls as props. This is a good class if you're interested in introducing more fun into your workout, and will help improve your balance, strength and flexibility.
In the Aston Fitness classes, I use a variety of equipment, all of which can be easily adapted to use
in a home environment: Simple hand and leg weights, bungee resistance cords with handles, paddles and belts, pulley cords, mats, wedges, a bar. All equipment is easily modified to fit each individual.
You will be surprised and delighted by the ways in which you can feel and work with the integration of different parts of your body, while learning concepts such as 'dynamic base of support', 'cooperative movement', 'matching dimension', and 'moving through the joint'.
Classes meet weekly, last one hour, and are offered in 5 - 10 week sessions. Minimum class size: 3.For a class schedule, contact me at judy@judyhuston.com.
